Noriko Machada designs for Chimala in New York City, but all pieces are made in Japan, from the weaving of the denim itself to the hand-distressing process that is the hallmark of this quality brand. The collections are influenced by vintage workwear from the 50s, 60s and 70s with details that make them unique pieces, subtly playing with shapes and volume, placing them in an absolutely modern framework.
