Collection: Laetitia Jacquetton

Based in Paris, with training in fashion and now immersed in the world of sculpture, Laetitia Jacquetton knows how to find harmony in contradictions. Each unique piece of blown glass and rock is a testament to his skill and instinctive ability to connect these two very different materials to create true works of art. Her technique involves blowing glass by hand to envelop the contours of each piece of rock, carefully chosen by her, causing the least possible disturbance to the environment. His childhood in the idyllic Burgundy countryside allowed him to appreciate nature and immerse himself in the colors and atmosphere of the region's forests and rivers. Later, she found herself in a completely different world, that of fashion, working for Sharon Wauchob and Martin Margiela and becoming art director of the iconic Galeries Lafayette in Paris. Moving on to the next phase of his creative career, he spent time in Japan, where he visited the Kyoto Rock Garden and tried glass blowing for the first time. It was this combination that inspired her to create the sculptures she makes today. In Murano, she continued her studies in glass, determined to master this physically demanding craft. Knowing and respecting the materials she uses and aware of the interaction between the solidity of stone and the transparent fragility of glass, Laetitia Jaquetton creates objects of reflective beauty. They are invitations to stop and reflect on permanence and transience, light and darkness, strength and vulnerability and, above all, the immutable magnificence of nature.
