Collection: Oros

Founder of OROS, Laure Amoros has shaped since 2015 a label rooted in her deep connection to wood. Raised in a family where craftsmanship and nature were central, she developed early aesthetic and ecological awareness. “For my parents, craftsmanship was a simple response to a need. Their work with wood and ceramics shaped my love for everyday objects.” For the past decade, Laure has gathered a community of wood enthusiasts—artisans, designers, and beginners—while continuing to learn in her father Roger’s workshop. OROS focuses on documenting, transmitting, and promoting woodworking skills. Guided by the idea of territory, Laure explores how local wood species inspire diverse techniques. Turning, bending, carving, and joinery highlight the beauty of both common and rare woods, always with respect for natural resources. “In the Béziers region where I grew up, Mediterranean species define the landscape. My father works with locally found wood—often boxwood and olive. OROS naturally celebrates wood in all its diversity, durability, and timelessness.”
