Collection: Orto Parisi

Orto Parisi is a project founded by Alessandro Gualtieri, who is also the creator of Nasomatto. The brand is inspired by the garden in Puglia ("orto" meaning "garden" in Italian) where the founder used to spend his summers with his grandfather, Mr. Parisi. Orto Parisi asserts that our body is experienced as a garden, and its scents are a true mirror of our soul. Refined and sophisticated, these fragrances reproduce the body's natural scents to which we are no longer accustomed, as well as the immediacy, fertility, earth, and life itself. "The parts of the body that carry the most scent are those where the most soul resides. Strong smells have become unpleasant for us because an excess of soul is intolerable to the extent that our innate animality is repressed and is becoming separated from civilization," explains Alessandro.
